Children from years 4/5 have been to visit a local solar farm in Dawlish. The visit helped children familiarise themselves with the technology and understand the impacts of climate change. Oak class have been looking at what 100 is composed of. They have used maths resources to work out how many 20s are in 100.
The five senses. In science we have been looking at the five senses, we used our sense of smell to identify some food and drink items. The children then looked at adjectives to describe the different items “sweet, zesty, fresh and herby”
