Children from Year 5/6 have started work with a local Kenton Artist to create a picture of Paddington to celebrate the life of Queen Elizabeth II. The children have taken inspiration from the picture below. Our design which will be made with different loose parts to give it a 3d effect.
Chestnut class have been exploring forces in science this half term. The children have learnt about Newton’s Law and gravity and have been measuring the force of gravity using newton metres.
Children from years 4/5 have been to visit a local solar farm in Dawlish. The visit helped children familiarise themselves with the technology and understand the impacts of climate change.
