Willow Class – Recycling Workshop
Willow Class had a fabulous afternoon taking part in a composting workshop run by the Devon Waste Recycling Team. We learnt about where lots of our rubbish goes but specifically we learnt about composting. Easter at Kenton 2021
We had lovely Easter celebrations in school. All of the children learnt and performed a dance, a class song, and also created some beautiful Easter art. Chestnut Class Y5/6
Chestnut class had a lovely morning making Anglo Saxon thumb pots. They then used tools to decorate them with the same patterns that the Anglo Saxons used.
Forest School Y5/Y6
We have been grateful for the drier weather at forest school and for a burst of sunshine. Year 5 & 6 made their own wooden bubble wands and ‘magic’ mix with some ingredients to make super large bubbles! Our bubbles looked amazing catching the light of the low winter sunshine.
