On Wednesday 23rd January, Chestnut class visited Plymouth University for a ‘SCITECH’ morning. There was a showcase of science and technology – which was very hands on. Stuart Raine from the Exeter Synagogue visited Chestnut class on Thursday 22nd November, he brought in artefacts from Exeter synagogue and showed the children how a priest should handle the Torah. He also explained about Kosher food and also chose some pupils to re-enact a Jewish wedding ceremony.
