Children work with Local Artist

Children from Year 5/6 have started work with a local Kenton Artist to create a picture of Paddington to celebrate the life of Queen Elizabeth II. The children have taken inspiration from the picture below. Our design which will be made with different loose parts to give it a 3d effect.  

Willow Class – Sportsmanship

Willow class worked with Mr Baxter SSCO when he visited Kenton Primary School.  The children worked well together in their teams to develop their sportsmanship skills.  

KS1 Aesthetics Festival

The children from Year 2 have taken part in an Aesthetics festival that involved activities such as yoga, dance and gymnastics. The children had a wonderful time meeting other children forms he local community as well. KS1 Aesthetics Festival

Handball Festival

Dance

Children from across the whole school have enjoyed dance lessons with Kate from Step Up and Dance.  The children have been developing their street dance skills linked to the topics/interests of the children.
