In Willow’s PSHE lesson, they practiced what they would do in an emergency. The children each phoned 999 and learnt to ask for the ambulance service because their patient was not breathing! Willow learnt to clearly say their address and also tell the caller if they are with a responsive adult. Well done Willow for…
One of our pupils was lucky enough to attend the coronation celebrations in London. Here are some memories of her day. This links so well with our history topic, where we are studying the hidden messages within Tudor portraits, and the theme of monarchy.
To celebrate the start of science week, Fizz Pop science came into school to explore different science experiments with the children. We all had a wonderful time!
The children from year 5/6 joined together as a team to take part in the Dawlish Rotary schools quiz. The children answered 4 rounds of general knowledge questions and had a great time!
Children from Year 5/6 have started work with a local Kenton Artist to create a picture of Paddington to celebrate the life of Queen Elizabeth II. The children have taken inspiration from the picture below. Our design which will be made with different loose parts to give it a 3d effect.
Willow class worked with Mr Baxter SSCO when he visited Kenton Primary School. The children worked well together in their teams to develop their sportsmanship skills.
The children from Year 2 have taken part in an Aesthetics festival that involved activities such as yoga, dance and gymnastics. The children had a wonderful time meeting other children forms he local community as well. KS1 Aesthetics Festival
