World Book Day at Kenton

March 20, 2017Jo Hussain

Wow! What an impressive array of  costumes were seen on World Book Day at Kenton!

We had Horrid Henry, Little Red Riding Hood, The Worst Witch, Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Anna and Elsa, Charlie Chaplin…the list goes on! We were all keen to show who we were and started the day with a catwalk, where everyone in the school paraded up and down the middle of the hall – even some teachers joined in!

The school then buzzed with activities – we did quizzes, drama, story writing, it was a great day and all the children went home with a voucher to exchange for a new book.

Thank you to all the parents who helped their children to be the characters they had chosen by buying and making some wonderful costumes.
