Oak class create dances linked to learning

Children in Oak Class have created a dance linked to the book ‘Viking Boy’ by Tony Bradman, which we have been reading in class as part of our topic on Vikings.

In the section the dance is created for, Gunnar and his family wake up and find their home is on fire. After a desperate rush to stop the flames, they realise the fire was started by a band of Wolf Men who are waiting outside. After a fierce battle, Gunnar’s father is killed and carried to Valhalla as a hero by the Gods. Gunnar then sets off to try and bring him back.
