On Friday 26th May, Chestnut class went on the train to Exmouth to visit the Exe Estuary.
We met a lady called Steph who showed us how to search for lug worms. She also gave us nets and trays to catch and examine shrimps, crabs, fish and molluscs.
It was a glorious day – we ate our packed lunch by the sea and made sand sculptures.
