Last Summer, ninety children took part in our annual Federation Music and Dance show and as a result of their hard work, £250 was raised by the audience to be donated to the Bramble Ward in the Royal Devon and Exeter hospital.
Four children were chosen from both Kenn and Kenton schools to present the two cheques to the staff on the ward. They were fabulous ambassadors for our Federation, and talked about the show and asked questions about the ward confidently and very maturely. After discussing different options, they decided that the money should be spent on paying for entertainment for the children in hospital. They were told that this would include visiting magicians and other shows.
The four ambassadors reported back to both schools, and we are all proud to be making a difference to poorly children’s lives.
Well done everyone!
