Over the last 12 months, it has been fairly quiet on the Academy front.
As you may know, the building and school land at Kenton belong to Kenton Church Land Trustee Board, to which rent is paid. The Lease renewal is still in the process of being resolved and final papers to join Teignmouth Learning Trust cannot be signed until that process is complete.
In the meantime, we continue with all the other preparatory work, such as discussing policies and a possible new name for the extended Multi Academy Trust. It is still anticipated that the Federation will join in this school year.
We will let you know as soon as we have something more concrete.
