Oak Class have been to Plymouth University for a podiatry workshop!
It began with children finding out the names of the bones in their feet and talking about what their feet are for and how to look after them.
After looking at models of feet, they then all carried out an investigation about whether taller people had bigger feet. They all made sure they carried out a fair test before drawing around their feet and measuring them. The results were put into bar charts and the groups discovered that although there is a link between height and foot size, it doesn’t always match up that taller people have bigger feet!
