Chestnut Class had a wonderful workshop with Steve Manning storytelling. We learnt all about the armour and battle tactics of Greek warfare. We found out about the life of men and women in Ancient Greece. I think we all agreed we would much rather be a boy in Athens but a girl in Sparta. We heard about Odysseus and his Odysseus where he beats the Cyclops, only to be cursed by Poseidon. We finished off the workshop with some freeze framing of some well known Greek myths.
