Oak Class were visited by Cara from the arts organisation, Daisi, today.
The theme was Tudor buildings in response to the fire at the Royal Clarence Hotel two years ago.
After looking at some of the older buildings in Exeter, they did some quick sketches in their art books focussing on the basic shapes could see.
Then they moved onto their pieces of wood and did outlines of windows and doors, masking them off with tape and painting them white.
After lunch, the black beams and finer details were added with pens, paint and a pyrography pen.
The results look amazing and will be part of an exhibition near the Cathedral in the autumn.
